Yesterday, Dr. Kam Ngar Yin, Irene, from Chiron Medical, led a medical team to visit the Food Angel to share knowledge about brain health and cognitive impairment with a group of elderly people. The event aims to deepen the elderly's understanding of diseases that are closely related to their lives.
During the seminar, Dr. Kam detailed the impact of cognitive impairment symptoms on their daily lives and emphasized the importance of prevention. Active participation in social activities and regular exercise are effective ways to slow down brain degeneration. Therefore, Dr. Kam led the elderly in a series of simple stretching exercises during the event to get them moving.
In addition, free health consultations were provided to give professional advice on the health problems of the elderly to help them better manage their health. After the event, the team prepared small health gifts for each participant to further improve their physical health.
